ABV: 13.1, pH: 3.32, Acid: 7.8g/L


Style: Bone dry. Crisp, zesty citrus. Very saline, mineral finish. This wine unwinds with decanting.

Viticulture: Mainly sandstone, this pocket valley in Carneros embraces the combined cooling effects of mountain shadows and bay breeze.

Winemaking: extended skin contact and slow cold fermentation, fermentation in stainless steel with 10 months maturation on lees.

“Sonnenfrost” is a bone-dry riesling that’s taken inspiration from the Pfalz style in Germany, where the winemaker trained. Similarly, “Nedori” (means “born of gold”) tries to bridge Californian fruit quality with European winemaking styles.
